HOW DOES THIS WORK ? There is nothing better than leaving your cat happy and content at home, that's where we come in...... We offer a superb service so you can go on your travels happy in the knowledge that your pets and home are in great care. When you enquire about this service we will give you your personal quote and if your happy with the fee, we will call round to your home for a free consultation and go through all your requirements with you, its that simple! We cover all of Tyne and Wear and parts of County Durham. Q. WHAT DO YOU DO ? * We call at your home every day * You choose the number of visits * We tend to all your pets needs including feeding, emptying litter trays, clean the pets area. * Fuss and play with your pet * Grooming * Administer any medication ( oral or injection ) * Pick up your post * open / shut curtains or blinds * Water your house plants * Water you garden plants and flowers * Alternate lighting between rooms * Put the TV / Radio on ( using timers or the TV's own sleep mode ) * We make your home have a " lived in look " * Remove any rubbish * put the Wheelie bin out / in * Mow the lawn ( small extra fee ) * Text you to say how everything is ( picture texts included ) * Added security for your home and belongings * If any veterinary emergencies occur we take care of all that for you ( any costs are settled when you return ) * Clients booking 7 days or longer return home to a complimentary gift of fresh flowers, milk and biscuits! Q. HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST? ALL FROM ONLY £6 PER VISIT for cats in Gateshead and FROM ONLY £7 for all other area's THE FEE INCLUDES UP TO 3 CATS..then its only £2.50 per extra cat! * travel time and mileage to your home are taken into consideration when calculating your personal fee * Want to come home from your holiday to fresh food? Why not book our wait-in service and have your local supermarket deliver your large grocery shopping for your return and we will put it away for you! WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW......... All Pet Service fee's are paid in advance. You can pay either at your consultation or leave it out for collection at the start of your service. Cats having 2 visits a day are on a rota of 8 hours between daytime visits. Morning visiting times are approximately from 6am to11am then afternoon visiting times are from 2pm to 7pm, so for example if your cat has been visited at 7am they will have their second visit at 3pm. Bank Holidays are charged at the rate of double time, Christmas day triple time. All pet foods and medications are to be provided by the client. Please make sure you leave enough food, cat litter e.t.c. to last the duration of the pet service. KEYS ...The collection and delivery service for keys is free for your 1st booking. Thereafter clients will be charged a £5 fee for this service. Why not use our free key holding service, then we are just a text or phone call away for any last minute plans. Clients are also welcome to drop their keys off at Helping Hands.

New clients will have a consultation in their home and existing clients can just phone or text for a booking. * We call at your home * You choose the number of times we visit per day or week * We tend to all your pets needs including feeding and letting your pet have some exercise ( clients provide running balls, tunnels and play items ) * Clean the pets area thoroughly once a week and top and tail their environment daily * Administer any medication your pet may need * If any veterinary emergencies occur we take care of all that for you, any costs are settled when you return.* Follow any instructions you have for us * Pick up your post * Make sure your property is safe and secure * Keep you informed of how everything is (picture texts included) * The area covered for this home visiting service is Tyne and Wear * Clients booking 7 days or longer return home to a complimentary gift of fresh flowers, milk and biscuits! Why not use our free key holding service, then we are just a text or phone call away for any last minute plans! * From only £5.50 per visit We take care of Rabbits, Mice, Hamsters, Gerbils, Fish.... * Cleaning....An additional set fee of £10 is charged for the time to give a thorough clean to your pets area if required or we can just top and tail your pets area until you return home which is included in your daily rate. * Just give us the details of your pets and requirements and we will give you a Quote!
