Love the new photos of little Harry on the website - it's great knowing he's so well looked after while I'm at work. Thanks to Kirsty for tiring him out twice a week so he sleeps all afternoon! I love getting messages to hear what he's been up to while I'm hard at work (sort of!), I couldn't do without you!! x

Big purrs to Dawn and the team from Furbs!!
She isn't a very sociable cat when it comes to strangers, and was in a real state after being in a cattery for a week last year.
On our return this year, after our 10 day hols, Furbs was relaxed, happy and her love of ham had been well indulged!! It was nice knowing that someone was looking in on the house too. Would definitely recommend Helping Hands!

dawn looked after our 2 cats bubba and willow for 3 weeks while we were holidaying!!!our cats were very well look sfter, were calm and chilled out, were clean, and the flat was kept nice for us!!!a really professional and freindly service, would reccomend to anyone who hates putting their pets into kennels or catteries.
also she left us some mik and bibbies and a lovely bunch of flowers for coming home to!!!really nice touch.its a nice feeling to know the flat was getting checked upon every day too.dawn also keeps well in touch with us when we were away, that our cats were fine and dandy!!!
would recommend this professional company every time!!!

I am afraid I have not been on the internet for months, so I do apologise and wish Helping Hands another fantastic year. Phoenix loves Dawn, Paul, Kirsty (Gateshead) and Kirsty (Newcastle), he is so well taken care of and gets to visit with his buddies every day, which makes him very well socialised and as other people comment very well behaved. When I come home from work Phoenix is always pleased to see me but it is nice to know that my mail and bins have been brought in and lights turned on. A huge thank you once again Helping Hands and may the business keep going from strength to strength and keeping that lovely warm family feeling.

Prrrrrrr Prrrrrrr it's cold, all we do is sleep in this weather, honestly give us a nice warm fleece to curl up on and we are in heaven! We just wanted to thank Dawn and her hubby for popping in on us whilst our owner flits about! We do love to see them, they are great and they love to play with us, we try to oblige if we can be bothered, buy we'd rather eat or sleep in this weather! ;-) Thanks for your love & care and reliability, hope to see you soon & Happy 2010! Lots of love from your feline friends in Jesmond xxxx

We have a pet Shar Pei dog (Jess) & myself & my daughter are at work most days during the week. We contacted Helping Hands after seeing the service advertised on the internet.
We can honestly say we have never looked back in terms of pet care, reliability & being able to trust this service!
Kirsty, our dog walker deserves a special mention because she is fantastic. Jess is always so pleased to see her & when they return after a walk sometimes soaking wet they still look happy! What more can I say?

We have been delighted with the professional and friendly service we have had from Helping Hands over the last 4 months. Star's wagging tail when Kirsty or Dawn/Paul arrive to walk her has been a real reassurance for us - we have seen just how much she looks forward to her walks and how good Helping Hands are with her. After much searching for a dog-walking service, we were delighted to find Helping Hands. We feel lucky to have found such a flexible, trustworthy and caring service. Even in the terrible snowy conditions we have had lately, Kirsty has turned up each day to give Star her walk, which has been much appreciated. Thanks very much to Kirsty, and also to Dawn and Paul.

This is a massive 'thank you' from Inca and me. He looked so well and happy after I'd been away for 2 weeks over Xmas. I also found a 'secret' stash of cat treats (nearly finished!) in the cupboard. You certainly go above and beyond the call of duty to love him as much as I do. You've been looking after him as long as I have and I wouldn't have it any other way. You make going away very easy and I really appreciate the texts you send to let me know all is well. I hope this year is an absolute belter for you both - you deserve it! lol x

Hi Dawn sorry for the long delay in commenting on the service.. Used Helping Hands for the first time in September to provide twice daily visits for our incredibly nervous adult cat Gracie and Millhouse our hyperactive new kitten. I had been dreading the thought of taking Gracie to a cattery due to her incredible shyness and hatred of car journeys so Helping Hands was the perfect solution for us. It meant me and my now husband could go off to Vegas to get married and enjoy ourselves without worrying how the kittys were. Came back to 2 stress free happy felines. And amazingly they seemed to have become more friendly to each other while we had been away. I almost fainted when that night they happily curled up together on our bed and fell asleep cuddling. Thanks so much for the obvious care given to them while we were away - will definitely use again and recommend to others!
